Amy’s passion for interior design can be traced back to her childhood desire to be an art teacher. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin Stout, she quickly developed a reputation as an excellent technical advisor with a natural ability to combine function with flair! Amy’s ongoing interest in emerging technologies within the industry, style versatility & dedication to bringing her client’s visions to life have garnered her the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities Trillium Award of Excellence for her work with MC Custom Homes.
Having worked in many aspects of the interior design industry, from selling furniture, working in a tile showroom, to selling blinds, it was a natural transition to move into whole home interior selections. Anna loves to utilize her wide variety of skills to help clients pull their entire home together. Her specialty is thinking outside the box with colors and textures to create something fresh. Whether it’s updating an old space, or starting with a blank canvas, she can help pull it together.
Katy’s interior design skills and extensive product knowledge comes from hands-on experience working in the industry. She started her career at Village Floor, while still in high school, through the schools BPA program. 20+ years later, she considers herself a “lifer” and is happy to wear the manager badge assisting our design staff, estimators and installers with technical calls and give design opinions. Occasionally, you can find her selecting a model home, or assisting the sales staff when the showroom is busy.
